Great ideas Lori...One thing which I have learnt along the way is the art of letting go. Before my kids arrived I was kind of a perfectionist. My house was always clean and tidy. When my first one arrived, I continued to be the same for a couple of years. I was exhausted. And then I learnt to relax a bit. I realized that not everything has to be done on the same day. I am not a perfectionist anymore and I am glad I am not one. I am much happier. If my kids make a mess, its okay. I now have two kids. And am a happy work at home mother.

Regards

One thing that I have found important that you touched on is priorities and maybe giving something up that is less important. Most people have to give something up to fit in the home-based-business. That is just a reality of the lives we live.

I think for everyone especially Mom's it's important to protect your time. There are so many time wasters out there and before you know it the things that truly matter are the ones that suffer. Our children and families come first so be careful about spending time on things that take away what truly matters in your heart.

Very nice, thank you! I've had my share of prepping my children while I have a call, doing the little hand motions when I just need a few more minutes, and praising them after the call.

I started laughing when I read this article. My son is now 30 and out and about on his own. The reason that I was laughing was in almost every sentence, I just substituted husband for child. If you try this, I guarantee you also will see what I mean.
